Especially for critical or end-of-life batteries, a safe container system is urgently needed for the storage and transport of lithium-ion batteries.
Due to the fireproof insulation of the hot-dip galvanised steel containers, RETRON containers prevent a potential reaction of the batteries in the form of a fire from spreading to the surrounding area. Even with an internal temperature of 1,000°C, the external temperature remains below 100°C - for three days.
